Terms of Service

1. Introduction & Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and Jivaseva OÜ, a company registered in Estonia with registration number 12142627, operating under the brand name "Typeza" ("we," "us," "our," or "Typeza"). Jivaseva OÜ is located at Lootuse tn 1-6, Kiili alev, Kiili vald, Harju maakond, 75401, Estonia.

By accessing or using the Typeza platform at typeza.ai, creating an account, or clicking to accept these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using Typeza on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use Typeza.

These Terms incorporate our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

2. Privacy Policy

Your use of Typeza is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Typeza, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. We encourage you to read the Privacy Policy carefully to understand our data practices.

3. Eligibility

To create an account and use Typeza, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable laws

If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy.

If you are using Typeza on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are authorized to bind the organization to these Terms; (b) the organization agrees to be bound by these Terms; and (c) you are at least 18 years old.

4. Dispute Resolution

4.1 Informal Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first at hello@typeza.ai, so we can try to solve it. Please describe the problem, add your contact details and tell us what solution you want. We will answer and try to solve it within 14 days of receiving your message.

4.2 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these Terms.

4.3 Jurisdiction

Subject to Section 4.4, any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Typeza shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Tallinn, Estonia (Harju Maakohus), and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

4.4 Consumer Rights and Consumer Disputes

If you are a consumer, you keep every right that the mandatory consumer laws of your country give you. If you live in the EU, the EEA or another country whose law allows it, you can also go to court in your own country.

If we cannot solve your complaint, you can take it to the Consumer Disputes Committee (Tarbijavaidluste komisjon) free of charge. The committee works at the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority, Endla 10A, 10122 Tallinn, Estonia. Its phone number is +372 620 1707. Its website, which explains the procedure, is ttja.ee/en/consumer-disputes-committee. If you live in another EU country, Iceland or Norway, your local European Consumer Centre can also help you.

5. Your Use of the Service

5.1 License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use Typeza for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include the right to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute any part of Typeza
• Sell, resell, license, or commercially exploit the service
• Access Typeza in order to build a competitive product or service
• Use Typeza beyond the scope of the license granted

5.2 Your Account

To use certain features of Typeza, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You may only create one account per person. We reserve the right to terminate duplicate accounts or accounts created through fraudulent means.

Inactive Accounts: If your account has no paid purchase and has been inactive for an extended period, we may close your account after providing you with notice via email.

5.3 License to Display Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to Typeza, including your interview responses and text submissions ("Your Content"). By submitting Your Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Process, analyze, and store Your Content to provide the service
• Display your results to you and to users you choose to share with
• Use anonymized and aggregated data for research and service improvement

We will not share Your Content publicly or with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or with your explicit consent. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is inappropriate, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.

5.4 Restrictions on Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information
• Use Typeza for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar technologies to access or collect data from Typeza
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise discover the source code, algorithms, or underlying ideas of Typeza
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of Typeza
• Upload malware, viruses, or other malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers or networks connected to Typeza
• Use Typeza for employment screening, hiring decisions, or any HR-related assessments
• Use Typeza to make decisions about credit, insurance, housing, or other consequential matters
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users
• Use Typeza for commercial purposes without our express written consent
• Resell, sublicense, or make Typeza available to third parties
• Access Typeza if you are a direct competitor, except with our prior written consent

6. Fees and Purchases

6.1 Payment of Fees

Typeza offers both free and paid services. Prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) unless otherwise specified, and may be shown in your local currency for convenience. Prices can differ by country and are shown in your local currency where available. You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan. Purchases on our website are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. In-app purchases on iOS and Android are processed by Apple's App Store and Google Play. We do not store your credit card details. Purchases on our website are sold through Link, a Stripe service. Link is the seller of record and handles the payment, VAT or sales tax, and your receipt.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If we discover an error in the price of a service you have purchased, we will contact you to inform you of the error and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order for a full refund.

6.2 One-Time Purchases

Typeza sells three one-time purchases. None of them renews.

One Relationship. Opens the full relationship write-up between you and one person you are connected with on Typeza. The purchase is tied to that connection, not to a pair of personality types: if either of you retakes the test and your type changes, the write-up for the new pair takes its place. Both people in the connection can read it. If the connection is removed, the write-up is no longer shown to either person. After the first 30 days, the purchase is not refunded or moved to another connection. This does not apply when section 8 or 12 promises you a refund.

Full Access. Opens the full write-up for every person you are connected with, now and later, every type pair and all audio overviews, for as long as your account exists.

AI interview. One interview per purchase. The purchase is used when you start the interview.

Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are also subject to Apple's or Google's terms.

6.3 Refunds

When a purchase is refunded, the access it opened is removed. A refunded relationship unlock closes the write-up for both people in the connection. A refunded Full Access closes everything it opened. For purchases made through the App Store or Google Play, ask Apple or Google for the refund. If section 8 or 12 promises you a refund, we pay it ourselves.

To request a refund, email us at hello@typeza.ai with your account email. You can tell us why, but you do not have to. Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days and credited to your original payment method.

7. Data Protection

If you use Typeza in connection with your organization's activities, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable data protection laws, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy. If your use of Typeza requires a Data Processing Agreement (DPA), please contact us at hello@typeza.ai.

8. Modifications to Terms and Service

We may change these Terms only for a valid reason. Valid reasons are:

• A new law, or a decision by a court or an authority
• A new feature or service
• A security need
• A clearer explanation of how Typeza works

A change to these Terms will never take away or shorten what you have already paid for. You will never have to pay more for it because of a change.

Before a change takes effect, we will email you at least 30 days ahead, if we have your email address. The email will explain the change and your right to end the contract. It will also tell you that the new Terms apply if you do not end it. We will update the "Last updated" date and show a notice in Typeza. If a law requires a change sooner, we will tell you as early as we can.

If you do not agree with a change, you can end the contract free of charge. You can do this before the change takes effect or within 30 days after it. If you end it, we will refund what you paid for any purchase you can still use, such as Full Access or an AI interview you have not done yet. If you do not end the contract, the new Terms apply to you from the date in our email.

We may change, suspend or stop parts of Typeza for a valid reason, such as new features, security or a change in the law. If a change makes something you have paid for worse, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Unless the effect is minor, you can then end the contract for that purchase within 30 days after the change and get back what you paid for it. If we stop a service you have paid for, you get back what you paid for it. If we offer an equal replacement, you can choose it instead.

9. Third-Party Websites and Services

Typeza may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources that are not owned or controlled by us ("Third-Party Services"). We provide these links for your convenience only and do not endorse, review, or control Third-Party Services.

We are not responsible for:

• The content, privacy policies, or practices of Third-Party Services
• Any damage or loss caused by your use of or reliance on Third-Party Services
• The availability or accuracy of Third-Party Services

Your use of Third-Party Services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and policies of those services. We encourage you to read the terms and privacy policies of any Third-Party Services you visit.

10. Intellectual Property

Typeza and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, audio, design, selection, and arrangement) are owned by Jivaseva OÜ, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

The Typeza name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Jivaseva OÜ. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in Typeza or any content, features, or materials available through the service, except for the limited license to use Typeza as expressly set forth in Section 5.1.

Any goodwill generated by your use of Typeza's trademarks shall inure to our benefit. You may not register, or attempt to register, any trademark, service mark, trade name, or domain name that is identical or confusingly similar to our marks.

We strive to respond to all inquiries within 2 business days. If you have a complaint, please contact us first, so we can try to solve it. Section 4 explains how we handle disputes.

12. Term and Termination

Term: These Terms are effective from the date you first access or use Typeza and continue until terminated.

Termination by You: You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting your account through your account settings, or by contacting us at hello@typeza.ai. Deletion of your account will result in the permanent removal of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

Termination by Us: We may suspend or end your access to Typeza only for one of these reasons:

• You break these Terms in a serious way, or you keep breaking them after we ask you to stop
• You use Typeza for fraud, abuse or anything illegal
• The law, a court or an authority requires us to do it
• Your account has no paid purchase and has been inactive, as described in section 5.2
• We stop offering Typeza or the part of it that you use

We will always tell you why. Before we end your access, we will give you reasonable notice. We act without notice only when we must act at once to protect other users or Typeza, or to follow the law.

If we end your access to a purchase you can still use and you have not broken these Terms, we will refund what you paid for it.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your license to use Typeza immediately terminates. The following sections survive termination: Sections 4 (Dispute Resolution), 10 (Intellectual Property), 13 (Indemnification), 14 (Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers), and any other provisions that by their nature should survive.

13. Indemnification

If you break these Terms or the law when you use Typeza, you must compensate us for the damage this causes. This includes claims that other people make against Jivaseva OÜ because of your breach, and our reasonable costs of dealing with those claims. One example is content you submit that infringes someone else's rights. You do not have to compensate us for damage that you did not cause or that was not your fault.

14. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

Please read this section carefully. It explains the limits of our liability to you.

14.1 Your Results

Personality type results describe patterns from socionics theory. You decide yourself how you use them.

14.2 Important Disclaimer

Relationship analyses are theory, not advice: every relationship analysis on Typeza describes typical interaction patterns between two self-determined socionics types, strictly according to classical socionics theory. Whether and how two real people get along depends on countless factors beyond personality type. You remain solely responsible for your relationship decisions and their outcomes. Jivaseva OÜ is not responsible for interpersonal conflicts, incompatibility, the success or failure of any relationship, or any decision you make about a relationship based on Typeza content.

If you have concerns about your mental health or well-being, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. Do not disregard professional advice or delay seeking treatment because of something you have read or experienced on Typeza.

14.3 Limitation of Liability

We are fully liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for death or personal injury. The same applies wherever the law forbids a limit on liability.

If we cause damage through slight negligence, we are liable only for damage that we could foresee when the contract was made. This limit applies only to slight negligence, never to intent or gross negligence.

The same rules protect our employees and service providers. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected, including your rights if the service or digital content does not conform to the contract.

14.4 Disclaimer of Warranties

Typeza describes personality with socionics theory and AI analysis. For this reason, we do not promise that:

• Typeza will meet your expectations
• Your personality type result will be accurate, or the same in every analysis
• The AI analysis will be free of errors
• The service will be available at all times without interruption

This does not affect your statutory rights if the service or digital content does not conform to the contract.

15. Social Media Login

Typeza allows you to create an account or log in using third-party services such as Google, Apple, or Facebook ("Social Login Providers"). When you use Social Login:

• You authorize us to access certain information from your Social Login Provider account, as described during the login process (typically your name, email address, and profile picture)
• Your use of Social Login is subject to the terms and privacy policies of the Social Login Provider
• We are not responsible for the practices of Social Login Providers
• If your Social Login Provider account is suspended or terminated, you may lose access to Typeza

You can disconnect your Social Login Provider from Typeza at any time through your account settings. Disconnecting will not delete your Typeza account, but you will need to set a password or use another login method to access your account.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of service of any Social Login Provider you use:

16. Miscellaneous Terms

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other agreements incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Jivaseva OÜ regarding your use of Typeza and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.

No Agency

Nothing in these Terms creates any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and Jivaseva OÜ. You have no authority to bind us in any way.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war or terrorism, epidemics, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, infrastructure failures, or internet outages.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, or if modification is not possible, severed from these Terms. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by us.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time without notice to you. Subject to the foregoing, these Terms will bind and inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective successors and permitted assigns.

Headings

The section headings in these Terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect.
