How it works

Take the test
Answer for yourself, not for your family: pairs of statements, no neutral middle.

Send them the link
Your parent, sibling or grown-up child takes the same test on their own, about themselves. Nobody rates the other person.

See your relationship type
When they finish, you both see which of the 16 relationship types you two make: its name, a one-line summary and how it tends to feel from each side.
This is not a quiz about your family
Most family quizzes ask who the favourite child is or how well you know your mother. This one asks nothing about your family history. Each of you describes yourself, and the reading comes from how your two personality types fit together. That is why it can explain things a trivia quiz cannot: why one of you plans every visit and the other wants to see how the day goes, or why the same argument comes back every year.

Getting your type right matters
If either of you lands on the wrong type, your relationship type is wrong too. When the test is unsure, it shows the types that came close: read those profiles or take the AI interview, then set the type that sounds like you.
Who people take it with
- A parent and a grown-up child - the talk you keep meaning to have.
- Siblings - same parents, very different people.
- In-laws - a way to understand the family you married into.
- The whole family - everyone takes it, and each of you sees your relationship type with everyone you have connected with.

Not to answer. They need a free account only at the end, so the result is saved and you both see it.
About 10 minutes each, and you do not have to do it at the same time. Each question is a quick choice between two statements.
No. Each of you takes a personality test about yourself. The reading comes from your two personality types, not from birthdays or star signs.
Yes. Send the same link to everyone. Each person sees the relationship type with every family member they are connected to.
Then you have a name for something you already felt. It describes a pattern between two types, not a verdict on your family. Plenty of close families have a tense pair or two.
Because family rifts are common. In a 2020 national survey, 27 percent of American adults said they had cut off contact with a family member, and most of them were upset about it. Knowing how you and a relative tend to work can make the hard conversations easier to start.
