Logic and Ethics

This isn't about being "smart" versus "emotional." It's about what kind of information you naturally evaluate.

Logical Orientation

• Focuses on objective information, systems, and cause-and-effect
• Listens to content: what's being said
• Evaluates through true/false, efficient/inefficient
• Excels at analyzing problems and developing systems

Ethical Orientation

• Focuses on relationships and emotional dynamics
• Listens to delivery: how things are said
• Evaluates through good/bad, harmonious/disharmonious
• Excels at understanding people and building teams

The key difference: logical people process emotions internally and focus on tasks; ethical people have emotions front and center and focus on people.

If you're logical, try listening without immediately solving. If you're ethical, try separating feelings from facts when deciding.

Neither lens is complete alone. The world needs both clear analysis and deep understanding.
